I've hated water my whole life I think I have a sensitive palate. I cook a lot and can smell the faint taste of spices when I'm not at home, which is why I've always hated water. No matter how much I understand the importance of water, I always stop drinking and drink soda. My kids drink a lot of water and have noticed that the water dispenser produces smelly water. I took a sip and it tasted like wet dog. I inspected my fridge and found mold. Then I decided not to bet on a 40.00 filter change. I wanted something cheap and eco friendly, that was the answer and I'm so glad I took the chance. I did not test the water with the water test kit but if I do I will update this review. Visually I could see the water bubbling and after a few hours it was delicious. We make sure to use this filtered water for our ice cubes if you like cold water or to fill a mini fridge.
