It's amazing. It's cheaper than other plastic water filter kits I've bought in the past and tastes way better. We have hard water and didn't want to buy disposable plastic drinking water bottles. This bar is cheaper and less wasteful than any other water filter I've found. I absolutely recommend this product! :)

I have a large capacity carafe (not sure if it's 3 gallons or more). I use it for my daily drinking and cooking water. I like this charcoal, but it's not fast enough for my purposes. I use a PUR pitcher/filter that I run water through and then pour it into my large Kishu charcoal carafe. This is where Kishu Charcoal makes a big difference. Water goes from useful to delicious.

We use this size for the 3 gallon jug on our countertop. That works great. We fill the jug before bed, and in the morning our water is fresh and the chlorine taste is gone. We have small ones that we use in a 1 gallon glass jug in the fridge so we have cold water too. I would highly recommend them, less waste than fridge filters, I think it works even better. Drinking from a fresh filter from the fridge won't taste as good as it does with this one.

I've hated water my whole life I think I have a sensitive palate. I cook a lot and can smell the faint taste of spices when I'm not at home, which is why I've always hated water.
