I bought this container for storing and topping Romano cheese. The bottom of the container is plastic, not glass like in restaurants. However, the first time I unscrewed the metal cap, the threads were wrong and it froze. It took me a long time to open the lid. Screw on and off carefully! The second problem was that the holes in the lid were too small to dispense the cheese. I increased her size with an ice pick. Now it works fine. The price of the dispenser is attractive. If you can't find a glass-based model, give it a try.
