Review on 📸 Vello FreeWave LR Wireless Flash Trigger and Receiver Kit by Tara Williams

Transmitter and receiver are delivered in a very elegant, sturdy box made of high-quality cardboard and printing. It is important? Well to me this shows that a lot of effort has gone into product development and hopefully the same goes for flash triggers. Comes with a well-made instruction as well as high quality material and printing. The box contains two straps, a transmitter and a receiver, four batteries, a 3.5mm to 3.5mm sync cable, a 3.5mm to 1/4 inch mono jack adapter and a nice, sturdy zippered pocket to keep everything in when it's not in use. Both devices are made of plastic, but they don't feel cheap when you hold them in your hand. They feel solid and should last a long time with care. So both devices work on one of the 8 channels. If you are shooting where other photographers use remote triggers and it interferes with your devices, you can switch to another channel at any time. I have the receiver hanging (with strap) on the side of the VC500LR Pulse Strobe Light; Since this flash has a 1/4" female mono sync input, an adapter was needed. The emitter attaches to my CANON 30D via a hot shoe. The emitter shoe is metal so it will last a long time. The emitter can be tilted , giving you the option of either standing upright or tilting forward down. I prefer it in a horizontal position so it's less obtrusive. I did about 25 test shots in my home studio and everything worked perfectly and flawlessly! Next week I will take about 100 shots of a young lady returning home and see if I get any misses and "black shots" as a result. I will update my review after this session. The price seems quite reasonable and I'm very happy with the purchase, especially if everything goes well for my upcoming shoot UPDATE: -- About 80 shots were taken and there was not a single black screen or any error. In any case, I am very satisfied and would buy it again. Should last a long time. By the way, I take out the batteries when I'm not using them.
