At first I was put off by the size of the jar (it's SMALL) and the lack of a start button (there's no button at all); You need to line up the bottom of the blender with the notches in the base on the right, then press down to start it. weird,) but this little thing made a very good, very smooth, thick smoothie, just like me Like it, so I'm happy! My morning smoothie is made with just 4 ounces of water and lots of almond butter, cocoa powder, collagen powder, coconut oil, egg yolks, spinach leaves, and frozen cherries, and I've had no trouble making a full cup. The spinach leaves stuck out from the "Max" line (I actually had to slide them into the cup to close the lid) and to my pleasant surprise, the smoothie came out great! I would give this 5 stars but I deducted 2 because of the small cup size (it would still be nice to be able to make a larger smoothie even though I rarely make it) and the lack of a start button because while it works, that is more pain, and it takes at least 2 tries to align those marks. I can't say anything about the durability yet, but for the money I'm really very satisfied. Works better than my old Hamilton Beach personal blender and has worked great for about a year!
