I have been using the g403 mouse for about 5 years, the only drawback for all the time is the notorious wheel encoder problem. In the end, he died completely and the lubrication with a purge is no longer enough to revive him, so I decided to take the "same" mouse - g403 hero. As it quickly became clear, the mouse is similar, but not the same. If I didn’t notice the absence of a wire braid myself and this is my jamb, then the quality of materials and assembly is noticeable only “to the touch” - plastic is noticeably cheaper and slippery, rubberized sidewalls are more rigid (apparently the rubber layer is much thinner), keystrokes are less elastic (and this is in comparison with the mouse, which has been in extremely active use for 5 years already), and the joints are lousy fitted - if on the previous model they are perfectly smooth, then on the new one there are noticeable gaps and even scratch the palm a little. The very shape of the mouse, in my opinion, is ideal, but such shortcomings greatly spoil the overall impression, and coupled with the unresolved problem of the wheel encoder, a return is inevitable.
