I have a two-year-old Belgium Malinois (a very intelligent breed) that is very active. He stiffed and found some of his food. He figured out how to get all his food out by tossing the snuffle mat up in the air and shaking all the food out. What a mess. Food when everywhere. He also chewed off a few pieces on the mat. I would not have noticed if the torn pieces weren't on the floor. My dog loves to play and toss his toys. I guess he thought it was a toy. I put it in his kennel to let him finish ripping it to shreds It did not work for us. Don't waste your money if you have a large breed.
