Review on 🔧 SMALLRIG Rod Clamp Ring Extension Mounting Ring for DJI Ronin S Gimbal Stabilizer – 2221 by Robert Maysey

I haven't seen anyone talk about this, even on the smallrig website, but if anyone is interested this can only be installed on Ronins in one orientation. This means that although the Ronins appear to be symmetrically designed around the attachment area, this clip can only be attached using the left/right oriented nato rails. It cannot be attached with front and rear NATO rails. For example, if you're hoping to add a NATO grip over the joystick area to hold the gimbal in briefcase mode, you would need to add additional NATO rails to this clamp. It's a bit of a shame that smallrig didn't design it with a choice of mounting orientations, but it's still good gear.
