Seems to be a good replacement filter for my Kenmore Progressive Upright. I just received the filter so I can't confirm the durability. But it seems to do what it's designed to do and I've had no problems. If that turns out to be a good filter, you'll definitely save money buying those expensive paper filters from Sears, which are about $20 each and can't be cleaned. Savings are the ability to wash the filter and put it back in the vacuum cleaner. With just one cleaning of this filter you have already saved real money. So my first guess is go ahead and buy one of these filters as you will definitely save money in the long run by eliminating the need to buy those other expensive Sears filters that need to be changed regularly.
