I am very disappointed that it does not fit my Kenmore. I bought a similar model in other companies, before that there were no problems. When installed on the top cover, this cover does not sit on the filter housing. Remove the filter and the cap fits. Go back to the old filter and the cap will fit. Very annoying. waste of money. I will order my next filter from Green Label.

Replacement filter. It either works or it doesn't, so I expect 1 or 5 stars. It works, hence 5 stars from me. Since this is not about defective superstructures or a sweeper, no further figures are required. I didn't wash the filter. I blew it with air but never washed it. Others say they had no problem, or indicated that they had no problem flushing the filter.

I thought we needed a new vacuum as our old Kenmore style uses this filter and it seems to have lost its performance. I bought this and a HEPA filter that also fits my car and immediately replaced it. Perfection! I've only ever used factory filters and since I couldn't find them I tried these. Seems to be a good replacement filter for my Kenmore Progressive Upright. I just received the filter so I can't confirm the durability. But it seems to do what it's designed to do and I've had no problems.
