The fans both worked, but the cables on both broke on the circuit board under the stickers in no time. I'm pretty good with soldiers so I replaced the wires with a better quality 24ga silicon wire which solved the problem, but it's a bit small and cumbersome if you don't have a good soldering iron and steady hand. If you can't solder the magazine somewhere else, they really aren't that good, even double row BBs. Trouble is, there's not much choice unless you're willing to pay $20 for a fan from somewhere like digikey, or wait a month for something from China that will be of equally lousy quality could. I will say that they blow air pretty well and if you keep them at about 50% of their maximum speed they are livable until you find something better for your 3D printer.
