I ordered this so my six year old could sit in front of me in my large single seater kayak. The anti-slip strip on the bottom is definitely a plus. The back brace is what it's given for how thin it is. The seat cushion is thick and comfortable. If you take the time to figure out what angle works best for your child's weight and height, it will work very well. This product comes in a folding box in a flat pack. But the product is turned inside out for this. There are no instructions in the kit and the straps don't come undone so I threw it away thinking it might be defective as others thought. However, you can flip it pretty easily if you know what to do. Loosen the straps and make them as long as possible, level the seat, slide the back panel (turtle side) down towards the seat cushion to loosen the straps a bit, then insert them into position. Now that I figured it out, I can flip it, fold it, and pack it for travel without having to rotate it 90 degrees!
