Decent product but blocks my FM signal

SEE YOURSELF AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS REVIEW** ORIGINAL REVIEW I am using a Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A780 receiver and want to make sure it runs cooler, especially in the Summer months when outside temperatures are in the triple digits. I chose Turn AC Infinity AIRCOM T8. I really like this product because it's very easy to set up in a few minutes and because it creates a lot of airflow, functional airflow; Therefore, running the fans at high speed generates little noise, 24 dBA to be exact. This is inevitable, all fans make noise. Why pay for such a product and not have airflow? In addition, the quality of the product is also top notch and looks beautiful. It was a welcome component in my theater until I noticed it completely blocked the FM signal. That's right, AC Infinity AIRCOM T8 completely blocks the FM signal. At first I thought the problem was the cheap 75 ohm F-type antenna that came with my receiver, but it's not. Have tried different antennas - without success. So this is a problem for me because I work from home and have been working from home for many years. I like to listen to the radio in the morning. With that, the AC Infinity AIRCOM T8 returns. However, I will be contacting AC Infinity to let them know about my issue and see if it is a one off issue. I will try to follow up with AC Infinity that the AIRCOM T8 is blocking my FM signal. I haven't seen any other reviews mentioning the problem of a blocked FM signal when using the AC Infinity AIRCOM T8, but then again I'm not sure how many people use a tuner on their receivers. I'm just one of those who do. Honestly I hope this is a one off issue as the AC Infinity AIRCOM T8 is a really decent product apart from the FM signal blocking. when the power is off. VIDEO NOTE. In the video I mentioned "receiver cooler", I meant "receiver exhaust". AC Infinity AIRCOM T8 is an exhaust device, which means it doesn't push air into the receiver, instead it draws in warm air from the top of the receiver and then blows warm air out the back of the AC Infinity AIRCOM T8, hence the exhaust. CONCLUSION In my experience this product is decent apart from AC Infinity AIRCOM T8 blocking my FM signal. It creates large airflow, functional air and is easy to set up. You've invested in your audio/video components, a small sum of money to keep them cooler is worth it. Since the AC Infinity AIRCOM T8 blocks my FM signal, I give it four stars because I listen to my FM tuner every time. Morning. There is no reason why the AIRCOM T8 blocks the FM signal. If I can't use the AIRCOM T8 with my receiver's tuner as intended, I may have to build my own cold store. If you don't care about your FM signal then five stars. **UPDATE** As I mentioned before, I contacted AIRCOM to find out why my VHF signal was being blocked when the AIRCOM T8 was on and they were quick to respond. That's what they said. "Hi, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience. We are sorry to hear that you are having problems with your AIRCOM device! Based on your description, it sounds like you are experiencing electromagnetic interference with your receiver. This is very rare, but I've seen it with older electronics or more sensitive receivers or amplifiers. Unfortunately, there are only two solutions to this problem (see below): (1) You can try using something called a ferrite core bead, which can help greatly reduce or eliminate EMI. (2) If it doesn't work. then your only other option is to return the device for a refund. For your consideration I have included a search showing these ferrite cord beads as shown online (see below). They're not expensive at all and can (maybe) also be found at your local electronics store.” NOTE. I removed the link because it was a general search engine results page (SERP) that showed ferrite cord beads. However, you can purchase ferrite cord beads from Revain if you have this problem and are determined to use this product. ***** Please let me know if this review was helpful by clicking the 'Helpful' button below.**** *THANK YOU!
