Great product, beautifully designed.

I have an Onkyo receiver and it's having overheating issues. I bought this unit specifically for an AV device and it works. Not enough time to get used to it properly, but it works fine now. I found that it generated its own thermal signature and turned on and off even when my receiver was off. So it took a while to get the temperature settings right before it worked as I expected. It now kicks in when my Onkyo is working hard and generates a lot of heat to keep it cool. It is idle during…

Elegant, efficient, easy to use

I have a Denon X4300h receiver and an ATI 1805 amplifier with 7.2.4 installed. Since both the AVR and amp are on the bottom shelf of an entertainment console (albeit with the front panel open), they got quite hot, especially when watching movies at or near reference levels. The Aircom T8 was highly recommended on several AV forums, so I took a chance and ordered a pair. The item arrived very well packaged and was very easy to assemble. Top marks for excellent processing quality. I configured…

Much better than I thought

I have an old Antec 'Sounddesign' attachment for my receiver which I bought in 2012. blast the heck, no pun intended. I bought this one because I was interested in the so-called smart features and I was looking for a replacement that is a little quieter than the Antec version. What was fascinating about this particular purchase was that there were three fans and the ability to daisy chain additional fans. Since I keep the receiver in a cabinet and the doors are always closed, I was able to hook

A very good block.

just received it today and I have to say I'm impressed. The first thing that struck me was that the thing is quite heavy, which to me suggests it wasn't built cheaply. I only see metal, no plastic. The only thing I would like is that they don't round off the ends of the faceplate. It seems to me that it can only be used on Marantz. I would have preferred the corners to be rounded to better match my Denon AVR-4810CI. In any case, this detail is certainly not a deal breaker. After unboxing it, I…

Decent product but blocks my FM signal

SEE YOURSELF AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS REVIEW** ORIGINAL REVIEW I am using a Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A780 receiver and want to make sure it runs cooler, especially in the Summer months when outside temperatures are in the triple digits. I chose Turn AC Infinity AIRCOM T8. I really like this product because it's very easy to set up in a few minutes and because it creates a lot of airflow, functional airflow; Therefore, running the fans at high speed generates little noise, 24 dBA to be exact. This is…
