Review on Stainless Steel Milk Frothing Pitcher With Latte Art Accessories - Perfect For Cappuccino & Coffee by Eugene Cox

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great pitcher, but know your measurement needs

This is a great frothing pitcher, amongst the many pitchers out there. First of all, it is 12oz, which is relatively small. So, before you complain it is too small after you bought it, know your needs first! I primarily make single shot cappuccinos in a 6oz Acme cappuccino cup. I am not into the art design, so my cappuccinos are topped off with a nice "blob" of styled foam, which is how my wife likes it as well. Back to the pitcher, I use 4oz of milk which gives me the perfect amount of milk to fill the cup with the 1 shot of expresso in it, and leave enough room for a foam topper. I haven't tried a latte, but I will soon. I have a 8oz Acme latte cup that I think this 12oz pitcher can provide adequate milk for, provided I don't let it foam up as I steam the milk. Overall, this is a nice attractive well made pitcher with well marked graduations inside the pitcher. Again, get out your liquid measuring cup, the cups you use for your expressos, measure your shot, then measure how much milk you need to fill the cup and room you need for art or a foam topping. Then decide if this 12oz pitcher will work for you. To all complaints in the ratings on it being too small, well maybe you should have done some simple measuring first before you bought it!

Pros
  • Burns my hand
Cons
  • May require more effort to clean than other frothing pitchers
