This is the perfect cover up or dinner dress option. It's flattering. The string sits below the belly button which is awesome for me, since I had 3 kids (my last belly were twins, so no matter what, there that pouch!) And this dress hides it perfectly. I bought a medium and it is the perfect fit for me. It's a bit shorter than what I am used to nevertheless I'm planning t wear in a cruise vacation so, I'm not bothered about it.
