Review on πŸŽƒ Disney Monsters University Disguise Costume by Alton Walton

No quality, no size…

So I'm kind of a last-minute mom. It literally took a week (with flowering) and got to my house on October 30th. I ordered this costume for my 6 month old baby's first Halloween who is still wearing 3-6 month old clothes so it's smaller. I wanted a size for 3-6 months but it was sold out so I took 6-12 hoping it was a bit big and didn't look bad. Thank goodness I had to go up a size because saying how small this suit is I would be very upset if I ordered a different size and it didn't fit me. The seller says Disney which I assumed was from the Disney store so I expected it would be a great costume. When it arrived it was a "Disney Baby", a cheaper version of the Disney merchandise often sold at Target and Walmart (not that it's a bad thing, we have a lot of Disney baby stuff at home), but you should know that the quality of the Disney baby is far from Disney store caliber, and rightly so for the price difference. That being said, I think $55 was AMAZING for this costume. Aside from working very little, the quality is POOR. There are no hidden seams on this suit at all, they simply cut and sew the fabric so you can see all the seams on the arms/legs/back of the suit. The legs are like slippers, they come out of the suit and are WAY big for the suit compared to the body, the hood is a detachable cap with velcro on the chin and the tail is held in place by 3 crappy velcros. Maybe these are all qualities that people like in a suit, but I just felt like it looked garish and horribly put together and didn't create a nice finished look. In my opinion it would be much better just being a hooded one piece jumpsuit. I wish it arrived earlier because I hate it so much I would buy another one or change our family suit together but that my husband already has a mic suit and I already have boo we have to keep that and my little man unhappy make day long. I'll have to research next year and order early, lesson learned.
