I bought this fridge to replace a similar fridge bought 3 years ago which has fallen into disrepair. As you'd expect, this is a basic little fridge with no frills. I flipped the switch to cool without looking too much at the back of the device; the red LED lights up. Good. I put down a few cans of Coke Zero to try it out and headed home from the office. The next day I sat down at my desk, started to work and maybe half an hour later I looked at the desk with the refrigerator. There were brown puddles on the table and dried brown stains on my computer printer and other items on the table. Surprised, I went looking and found that the liquid came from the refrigerator. I opened the door and, to my surprise, found two empty Zero Coca-Cola cans with the lids partially ripped off. The fridge itself was very hot inside. I immediately turned it off and then examined the back of the fridge, thinking I must have mistakenly flipped the switch back to 'heat' and not 'cool'. Look at the photo. At first I was very angry because the fridge blew up two cans of soda and trashed my office. But you can't stay angry when confronted with such a hilarious chabuduo! I set the switch to the "cool" position. However, as you can see in the photo, all the words on the back are printed in reverse. Some production worker (I won't be crediting this person with the terms "technician" or "assembler" as those terms are associated with a certain level of skill) apparently flipped the stencil used to print those words, and nobody in at the factory, it was familiar enough with the Latin alphabet to understand it. Then somehow the "heatingโ setting became associated with cooling and vice versa. Nobody noticed it during production or quality control. I'm so stupid; QC is not part of the Chabuduo experience! So after a thorough cleaning, which still hasn't been done since my office Christmas decorations were soaked in Coke Zero, I flipped the switch to "Heat" (I can't print mirror image characters here) and waited half an hour to see what will happen. Of course, this little thing has cooled down. I put 1 can in it and came back the next day. It was very cold so at least it works if you find a workaround. Well it worked for a few days; I have no hope that this will last long. I suspect the insides are made from shredded cardboard and wire of insufficient strength. If you decide to spend your money on this poorly made behemoth, test it on an empty first or your office, car or home will be flooded with explosive particles. liquid glasses. Better yet, buy another refrigerator from another seller.
