I was skeptical because I bought another brand at Walmart that did NOT heat up enough to straighten my hair and make it wavy. THIS brush is awesome! I did small sections of the hair at 355 degrees and the hair was straightened in 2 passes! It took me less than 5 minutes to complete my head! I would recommend combing your hair to remove knots before using this product. It has settings of 250-400+ degrees. It heats up at the end of the brush and comes with a glove if you want to use it, I didn't and it was fine. It has a default setting of 355 degrees and heats up in less than a minute. You simply press plus or minus on the brush to adjust the heat settings to suit the thickness or texture of your hair. When you're done, comb the hair at the end of the brush to avoid burning the remaining hair on the brush. There's also an auto shut-off if you forget to unplug it. I'd recommend just unplugging from the network after you're done, and it comes with a storage pouch after the brush cools down. If you have naturally curly hair like me, you will love this comb!
