This thing has a serious design flaw. The inner heat mat does not close with a zipper, but only with a small Velcro fastener. To make matters worse, there is a blue thread on the heating mat, I know why. So what's the deal. So far I have ordered 3 of these self heating mats for my rescue dog Poco who is 10lbs and over 10 years old. Over the past year she has developed "urinary incontinence”.
