We have a spooky cat. She is literally afraid of everything. Ceiling fans will want it. I bought her a different brand of bed but she refused to use it so I ended up donating it to the animal shelter we got them from. As our cat developed a relationship with me, she decided she needed to be with me EVERYTHING. TIME. Unfortunately, this meant it sat between my keyboard and my monitor, which hurt my gaming experience. (Priorities, I know.) I bought this bed and she sniffed at it for a week and then finally realized she liked it. I put it on my desk for her to sit next to me and it satisfied her need to be with me at all times so I could see my monitor. :) I love the idea that it can be warm and not have to worry about it being plugged into the mains and possibly burning down or possibly not causing any damage to our house anyway. Our girl is 10 pounds so she is not a giant. a cat, and the width is ideal for her to spread her paws in front of her when lying on her side. There's a section of about 1 foot that isn't used because it's longer than necessary, but that just means I can't put as much crap on my table. :) I hope my novel explains why I gave it 5 stars and why I took the time to write a review for it. I'll probably have to wash it soon, but a bonus of this bed is that I can take out the middle and just wash the fabric. Okay, I think you understand that we are happy with our purchase. :)
