I bought these to mend small holes in the corners of my leather sofa where the puppy was chewing. Several pieces on the front of the pillows are the size of a nickel. They look great, there are a lot of them. Maybe because they don't hold up well. I followed the instructions and they all fell off. We're not rude with the sofa either. Since then I've used up to three patches (not directly on top of each other) on a hole, hoping it stays. They can work well for a flat area that subsequently has no contact. If I didn't have to use up all but two of them, I would send them back.
