The advantage of this brush is that you don't have to worry about your hands being too big for it. It seems to work for any hand size. It also has a hole to slip your middle finger through for another grip. Width 4 1/4 inches. The bristles are 1 inch at their widest point and 3/4 inch at the ends. I used to buy such a brush at the dollar store to wipe my hands, a dish strainer, coffee cup lid grooves, and so on. this one is much larger than expected. I have ordered several different Revains from Revain and overall this is my favorite. Others were too small, and they definitely had a grip that was too small, even for a woman. ;-) - The price is a bit high. ;-( But if you need a brush and it's hard to find one that suits your needs, then this works!
