Good not great but there is a way to make it better

So this review is more about how to make it better and extend its lifespan. 1. You will need to inspect the sensor for defects on the top edge of the threads where the cable coils, make sure you remove the o-ring first [see fig photo #1] and then clean the edge with a razor knife or a razor blade to be leveled and filed [see. Photo #2, 3] 3. Remove dust and replace the original O-ring with a new O-ring [see Photo #4] 4. Screw the cable and check for slack by turning pull and push on the other end of the cable. If it doesn't have play, you'll have to redo it with a thicker o-ring, or fold it in half like I did [see photo]. Photo No. 5, 6]. ] at least 3 to 5 mm6. It is recommended to wrap the threads with Teflon tape for two reasons: to keep moisture from collecting in the gauge and to keep the threads from snagging on the nut so that lube can be added if the needle starts to jump. [cm. Photo #8] 7. Lubricate the end of the cable and the inside of the cable [see Photo #8]. Photo #9] 8. And finally, attach the cable to the sensor and tighten, making sure you have axial play and the cable housing is not twisted. When it's correct, attach the drill to the other end and slowly twist to see if the needle starts to move and bring it up to full speed while keeping the cord as straight as possible to see whether the needle jumps a lot. [cm. last photo] [FYI, this works on all rotary gauges] Good luck!
