Small appliance laundry massacre

2 year old update: Still very happy with the blender, especially where I end up with my previous ones for now. Now that everyone is at home, it becomes more useful than ever, with the same excellent and consistent results. I don't know what some of the one star reviewers are doing with theirs, but it has to be some level of mishandling by Munchausen by mixing it up to get the problems I've read about. These are $60 blenders, not $200 cement mixers and smoothies. It's also $60 aloud, so you'll have to live with that, too. This is a bad** blender for the price. It achieves the right amount of power needed to mix things up at home. If you want to turn chicken bones into marrow puree to feed a pack of werewolves roaming the swamps, you can't. I've found the secret to finding the blender you need: search the reviews for what you want to blend. In my case, I wanted the flaxseeds in my smoothie to be destroyed. Don't premix, just throw them in the mix and damn it destroy it. It works out. I can probably count on the fingers of one hand the tiny particles I find—above the grainy plane. In addition, it is easy to disassemble and clean. Aside from being noisy (to be expected for the performance), my only complaint is the design alone. The first is the on/off switch. I never thought a blender would be needed. It's on when you shuffle, off when you're not. I think this one will wait unless you tell it to stop. Also, the external power button is below the blending buttons and the stop button is on the right side. You might think it would make more sense to place a stop button below the start buttons.
