The round door that opens to let your hamster or other animal out has a locking mechanism that can trap your pet's leg. This happened to my snowflake and it was a bit scary trying to free her leg for me and both of you. Since it was impossible to put them on the bus that way, the only other way to close it was to put the creature behind the wheel and hope you could get the rest of the bus roof up before they ran off. My hamster is pretty tame but I'm sure there are a few others. I would not recommend this bad design product for its purpose. It would be better if there was a way to open it from the side or a big opening that opens from the top so the bus can lower your animal instead of having a base and rushing to get the roof of the bus down Putting busses on it is not the easiest line-up.
