This beanie is an evolution of beanies that are popular and good value for money (unlike others that I had to return). It's thick for extra cold days, with a nice texture and lining. This hat is oversized, so if you have a small head circumference or short hair, the hat may seem too big for you. On the other hand, those cute washcloths under this hat won't smudge, no matter how long your hair is. I gave the hat to my friend's daughter who lost it the first time she wore it. I love this hat so much I will be trading it in for one for myself. Everyone should experience this hat for themselves if they miss out on a great product based on my review. A suggestion: There are only two color options, more will be awesome. One happy Finicky shopper!
