Review on AIPER Foldable Voltmeter Portable Kickstands by Jeff Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good build quality and great performance.

Update: Panel output power has increased noticeably with new cables, no more hot plugs. It seems that the power output of the panel is limited by the included cables. These records seem to be really well made. Time will tell how well their PET material will hold up. The junction box is equipped with convenient voltage and solar intensity indicators, making it easy to position for efficient positioning. It also has a parallel input (which I'm tired of) to make it easier to connect two panels in parallel. Blackboard. Two panels connected in series deliver about 272 watts in the winter sun. Aside from the PET material, I don't like the 5.5mm x 2.1mm connectors. These panels output over 7A and the connector gets quite hot. I didn't use the parallel input in the junction box because I can't imagine how hot the connector would be if two panels wired in parallel use the parallel input and pass all the current through those connectors. I decided to make my own XT60-MC4 cables for a better and more versatile connection. Overall I'm very happy with the build quality and the excellent panel output. Hope they age well.
