Like the others, this part replaced the useless blue forearm orbit. Dirty dishes annoyed me and I almost considered spending $$$ on a new dishwasher. This is only 5 years old. I decided to google my problem and came across others with the same "dirty dishes" issue. I bought this item with confidence that it would solve the problem and I'm happy to report that the dishes are clean again! Throw out that blue orbital junk and replace it with this piece without hesitation. I've noticed that the dishwasher sounds louder now, but I think that's because the lever is now turning as it should.
