I've been waiting to write this review as we've used this tent a number of times and in a variety of conditions. We've had this tent for two years now and have used it for camping in 5 states. For a family of four we like it, although not ideal. We use this tent for trips longer than 3 days as it is not very quick to set up. It takes my husband and I at least 15 minutes from start to finish, which isn't bad even for a short weekend getaway, but we have other ways to set up tents faster. However, this is the most waterproof tent. We bring rain all the time when we camp and this tent doesn't get in although it doesn't have a vestibule to protect the door. I wish it had at least a foot more cover but the tent is exactly as shown in the photos and stands in place pole to pole. The annoying thing about this tent, and what lowers it from 5 stars to 4 stars, is that there is no natural way to expose the mesh or create a breeze through a tent that is 75% mesh. When stretched properly it has good ventilation but can get quite stuffy so I recommend having a fan. We rolled it up on the sides, which is fine but not ideal when it starts raining. All in all, this is a great tent for spring or fall, maybe even winter with a tarpaulin and insulation. On very hot summer days you need to remove your rain gear to be comfortable. But this is a fantastic spacious tent that will keep you and all your gear dry if, unlike us, you remember to close the front window in a downpour. You can't beat the price for what you get in this tent.
