My Fluke stopped working a few weeks ago. I needed a strain gauge and didn't want to spend a lot of money on one. I threw an arrow and it hit this one. This little device comes in a protective case and is a handy smaller size. I haven't tested it for absolute accuracy as I don't need it to be perfect in its measurements. An error of 1.5% is acceptable for my purposes. The ¡°best surprise¡± was the battery already installed. (I tried twice and finally found an insulating sheet). Anyway, I didn't expect so many features for the price. Even at this price if I fall or fry I will buy another. Great quality and yes I would recommend this counter. **For those who have received a faulty gauge, please remember that it is mass produced in China and quality control is minimal. Ordering such goods is like playing the lottery. Knowing this is the bridge between the company and its customer service. A business should anticipate a certain number of faulty meters and use them to the satisfaction of its customer base. If mine fails soon I will contact the company and report back here. A company is only as strong as the customer support it provides.
