no directions to put it on the lens. a little tricky! It makes it difficult to fit the lens into a bag, quite bulky.So far It is the only filter to fit the 12-24 wide angle Nikon lens due to the rounded shape of the lens, not flat like other lens. You can buy other filters to fit this filter adapter. This will keep my lens safe from damage.
