Great on chrome, other finishes may require more effort

Effectiveness depends on what metal you use it on. It seems to work really well on polished surfaces like chrome but not so well on steel and copper. I used it to restore the internal metal parts of an antique sewing machine. On some surfaces it makes the metal look like new again, on others you can still see the wear and tear of 50 years of use. Perhaps with repeated use and extra elbow grease it will eventually get the job done. I'll update the review if I see better results, but overall it does a decent job.
