Easy 2 screw disassembly. The face is removed with two more screws. The original scale is drawn on a robust aluminum housing. In my case I printed a new scale on self-adhesive paper and glued it to the back of the original scale. Users should be aware of one issue: the armature resistance is 158 ohms, not the standard 100 ohms. So if you're replacing an old meter or creating a cookbook project, you may need to make some modifications to compensate for the significant errors that this radically different armature resistor can introduce.
