I bought an electronic tire gauge but it was ok. . . . The battery died after a year and I didn't want to keep changing batteries. I've always used handheld gauges, so I'm back with that. The problem was that I had lost my "old" one, so I was looking for a replacement. This one fit the bill, especially for the cost. What I really like is the elongated "head" so you don't lose air when checking the pressure because your hand is off-center. The extra lids are nice too as I lose one every now and then too.
