Review on 🚧 Caution: Traction Friction Abrasive Adhesive by Jake Pavelko

WILL NOT stick when wet

I bought the yellow/black tape for several reasons: 1) For indoor use, draw attention some steps that people overlook. This works, and the eye is drawn to the bold stripe pattern, which is reminiscent of the presence of a step. 2) Outdoors to line the edge of the three steps made by people coming out of the hot tub. A month has passed. We used the tub a couple of times, it rained a bit and the tape doesn't stick well in humid environments at all. We started off with dry and clean steps and seemed to have good traction. Now you can see in the picture that the tape has completely come off in several large places and the backing has completely lost its adhesive strength. It's not all weather as the seller describes. We'll have to look elsewhere for our outdoor protective tape or spend some time applying the tape along the wooden stairs, which is not an attractive solution given the bare feet that will be crossing those stairs. The buyer is cautious and is looking for another option for the road.
