This is an absolutely wonderful tap water filter. I was on well water for 25 years and moved to an area where there was purified water that tasted like doo-doo. Thanks to this filter I can actually drink water without getting sick. The only reason I'm not rating it 5 stars is because I had to exchange it because the first one leaked. I read other reviews on this issue and decided to risk it. My first was black and fitted perfectly on the counter by the sink, but I had to keep a towel underneath to keep it from dripping when I used it. A week later, the droplet turned into a stream, and when I went to check, a long metal nozzle came loose in my hand, and water was pouring out of it. It looks like it was brazed or welded to another internal part and didn't hold up. I requested a replacement and received it within a few days. This one was white, not the black I wanted, but it worked. This one has no leakage at all and is great for all my needs. It works way better than the other and the water tastes even better. This is an amazing filter and I highly recommend it. However, please note that sometimes defects can occur and you may need to request a replacement before receiving an item that is perfect for you. Maybe in the future they will establish the production of this special weld. It's such a silly and small thing. I can see how difficult it could be to get that weld right. Don't miss this one because of the problem in some of them. Just request a replacement and you'll be just as happy as me. I love this filter.
