Review on Denso 234 4355 Oxygen Sensor Ratio by Grant Galloway

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits my 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTS

Worked as a replacement for my lower front oxygen sensor in my 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTS. There are four sensors in total, two in the front and two in the back. Front - from the side of the radiator, rear - from the side of the bulkhead to the cab. Group 1 refers to the three cylinders at the rear and Group 2 refers to the group of three cylinders on the radiator side. If you have a code P0430 (bank 2 sensor problem), this may fix the problem. The top sensors might not fail that quickly under normal conditions, and the codes won't tell you exactly what the problem is when you get the P0430. It can either be a sensor or the cat converter itself. Not a bad cat. A bad or dirty O2 sensor is very likely. It is highly recommended to use a special offset bushing to remove them. Also, the wire harness that the sensor is connected to is attached to a metal bracket on the engine. You MUST completely remove the wire harness from this bracket (by pressing the release button on the bottom) before you can disconnect the O2 wire harness. This is the hardest part. Do it yourself and you'll save a lot of money for other, more interesting things. ** The black plastic brackets shown in the photo were not included in the scope of delivery. You must reuse existing ones. After releasing them from their mounts I was able to cut the straps and reuse them with my own zip ties.
