I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

I bought 2 clamps - one in one store, the other in another. One (gray) came in an earlier version, the other (black) in a later one. Both have both pros and cons. The first has a wider bar, which is preferable for me, the second has it narrower, but thicker. The thrust pads in the first are smaller than in the second. The second one is more cumbersome. Both are made of good quality plastic.

Pros

Excellent clamp. Not bulky, thick hardened bar (really good steel) with stiffeners, at maximum reach, does not deform when clamped. Good plastic. When fixed, it does not roll back itself. I clamp almost with full force - withstands.
