Burnt out original lamp needed replacing, so I bought this one: cheaper. brighter. and LEDs. They are super bright and look great. I drive with the headlights on all the time, so I like the rear-facing red stripes, even during the day. Minus - Instructions: Thank God Youtube. It's easy to pry the block out of the bumper with a flathead screwdriver, but then what? Answer: You pull out the lightbulb. You don't twist it or do anything else. But it's glass so it will break so hold on tight and just pull. Mine was still splintered, but I finally got it out, plugged in the new LED block, it fitted the case perfectly, and that's it. Maybe thirty minutes at most. Not sure about durability so we'll see what we see.
