This is the second variant of this dress that I've bought. Seriously. They aren't SUPER well made, like they aren't going to last me a decade for sure, but they are on decent par with anything else in this price range, if not a bit better. The pattern of this one is very vibrant. I had to get into my photos and edit it to get the color right as is instead of the washed out version captured in the phone camera. It's quite bright. It's nice. I also have three other variants (the white/black tie-die; the dinosaurs--the best of them by far!; a strawberry pattern that hasn't yet arrived but I'm excited to get it) and may get more. They're pretty perfect for the stupid-hot summer already inflicting itself upon Southern Virginia. They will be great in cooler weather too, being the perfect length to wear with yoga pants or tights. They all cling in the right places but aren't TOO tight, they're the right length for shorts or (as I wear) boxer briefs if like me you can't stand your thighs rubbing together and move around enough to warrant some modesty concerns. Plus, though they are all pretty snazzy little dresses shape-wise, they're also just this side of too much for my work, which is petcare, and puts me in touch with lots of older and more conservative people. Slinky club wear is nice and all, and this could ABSOLUTELY work for that if paired with the right shoes and/or attitude, but they pass for quirky day wear likewise. Perfectly balanced for many occasions, nice to wear and don't ride up, and for darn sure comfortably fit enough for someone with some long-standing body issues to feel sexy and not exposed and insecure. If they make me feel sexy as I am, and I don't feel compelled to wear a duster, camisole, hoodie, flannel or any other form of insecurity-driven cover up, they deserve five stars for that feat of real world magic alone.Just give one of these a try! What's the worst that could happen, you've got to return it. Or, like me, you could find your new favorite three daily wear wardrobe pieces.
