All metal design is great. Not suitable for medium-sized jalapenos. Works great with large jalapenos. Love the notches near the handle to cut off the top of the peppers. The handle can get slippery when your hands are wet or you need to wrap the bacon and then cut the core a little further. I'll probably dip some plastic liquid to give the pen a rubbery finish and some color. There are also 4 cores in the package. So hide them before the family decides you have too much and help yourself.
