suddenly it stopped working 1920x1200

I've been happy with it for 6 months. It recently stopped working at my monitor's native resolution, 1920 x 1200, only works at 1680 x 1050. Luckily I have a second one. As soon as I plugged it in, it started working at my monitor's native resolution. Not sure if the fixed USB-C cable is broken or something. I do not recommend buying if you will be using it daily.
