I use this all the time (pretty much every other day for several hours a day) to display my laptop screen onto my tv. At first I bought an HDMI to HDMI (both ends connect to an HDMI port) but then I realized for some reason my laptop has a DisplayPort instead of an HDMI port, so I bought this.It's reliable and there is no noticeable lag or drop in picture quality as data is transferred between my laptop and the tv screen. I've tried it on a number of different televisions and it works perfectly on all of them.
