Review on DOG CARE Dog Training Collar Dogs and Training & Behavior Aids by Justin Philemon

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Didn't meet expectations

Update: It's been about 3 weeks and I've upgraded my rating from 4 stars to 1 star. Here's why: A collar doesn't hold a charge. I literally charged it all night and when I turned on the collar it was at 75%. I messaged the company through Revain and haven't heard anything. Zip code Nada. By no one - The collar does not sync with the remote control - Plastic pads do not hold. I literally had a fall while walking my dog. To be honest this is my first purchase of a stun collar so I have no comparison but I don't feel the company is customer centric. Ultimately, the product is good enough but doesn't really work. Original: First off, I have to admit that I really don't like the idea of electrocuting my dogs. But I have a bitch who is very aggressive towards my male and my male is very aggressive towards my husband (unrelated). I did my research and then felt guilty, but then we had an episode that made me realize that I should be able to take control in an aggressive situation without putting myself or others in danger. The following made me buy this product: - Plastic pads for shock sensors - Can control both dogs with one remote control - The price for two collars + one remote control is very cheap - Lots of good reviews. I highly recommend using plastic shock sensor pads. They come packaged separately but I wonder if they were used in some of the intense shock reviews. I also recommend starting with low values like 6 or 7. I shocked myself first before dialing setting 6. Their demeanor is frankly much better when wearing collars. My aggressive bitch responds well to vibrations in the house. When walking she got a beep/vibration/vibration/shock and didn't react at all. I have the collar a bit loose on her, that might be part of it, but the husband mentioned that her skin and fur around the collar is still thick. We increased it to 8. My dog was not trained in any of them. He has aggressive outbursts at night but is usually in the kennel and I take their collars off at night to recharge them. My only negative feedback is that the collars did not charge and only one charger was provided. Your collars have been charged for a full night (a few nights) and seem to hold a charge. At first I charged it for a few hours and the charge didn't last long. I don't know if they needed a good load and we have that. After 4 hours of wearing on a full charge, they have the same battery life. I really like the beep and vibrate options. My goal is to teach them to stop behavior X with a sound signal. I don't think the remote is too big either. There are a lot of options and I think it's really well designed to switch between two dogs (you can't train both at the same time) and lots of power options. In general, while this is the highest quality.
