Definitely order from Car Alarm Depot as you will need to program this unit as a stand alone remote triggering device with Flash Link Updater (which you would otherwise have to buy but never mention any other seller than Car Alarm) . The reason I say this is because Car Alarm Depot will pre-program the device with the Flash Link Updater for your vehicle. Other providers here didn't share this little tidbit of information with their customers, which resulted in them paying another $60 for the Flash Link Updater part. That being said, this product is just great and is sold at an incredible price compared to a Mopar factory kit which can cost up to $500 and may or may not include installation work. This kit contains a simple small black box, a main wiring harness with 5 connectors (2 large connectors that connect to jeep, 1 red connector that connects to block, 1 black connector that connects to block and a Set of white connectors, ONLY 1 of which is suitable for connection to the device) and a 20-pin connector that also connects to the device. Unfortunately you need to connect a yellow wire from that 20 pin connector to a yellow wire from the main wiring harness. But there is only one yellow wire in the whole bundle, easy to find even for a color blind like me, only 6 connectors on the main harness when all is said and done. This way you have connected a total of 4 connectors from the main wiring harness to the remote start box, with the remaining 2 connectors plugging directly into the Jeep OEM connectors already in place. Of course, there is a small procedure when connecting all the plugs (e.g. hold down the button and wait for the blue indicator, then connect the rest). But it's actually quite easy, and there are videos on YouTube that show you just how easy it is. In addition, Car Alarm Depot always answers your questions by email. You don't have to worry about that. Anyway, it took me about 15 minutes. The hardest part was unplugging the OEM Jeep connector so I could connect it to the main wiring harness. But I'm so glad I did because now I can start my jeep in the morning and it stays locked while I get ready inside. Then I can go to work in this freezing winter and have a good, warm and thawed jeep ready for combat use. Can't wait for summer to do the same with the air conditioning in the heat of battle.
