I recently traveled to Iceland where the average daily temperature was between 30 and 40 degrees (Fahrenheit) and the entire trip was forecast to be rainy from time to time, snow is possible. I have lived in a warm temperate climate all my life and have never needed a heavy waterproof jacket before. This jacket fits me perfectly! It was completely waterproof and very warm. I'm 5ft 5" and 125lbs so I usually wear tops a size small so I ordered a small jacket and was glad it was roomy enough to wear multiple layers underneath without being stuffy or constricting will. The pockets were easy to access and provided extra space for my phone, keys and sunglasses. The chest pocket looks small but is big enough to hold a smartphone which was helpful when I had to wear a belt around my waist which is made the waist pockets inaccessible. Inside the jacket is a kind of faux fur, quite soft and cozy. I especially liked that the hood has two straps on each side, which can be fastened in front of the neck with Velcro - in strong cold winds, this prevented the hood from loosening Hood detached from head, lips protected. And the jacket was very waterproof - I wore it in the rain and stayed completely dry. Overall I was very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.
