Was looking for a light for the stairs to our newly renovated basement and came across this quirky little thing. In red! It tickled me so much. and although my husband just smiled and shook his head, I ordered it straight away. It was installed a few weeks ago and I love it as much as I thought I would. Definitely a topic of conversation as anyone opening the door to the stairs is immediately greeted with the sight of a lightbulb on a swing hanging on the wall directly opposite the top step. I was afraid it might blind us or create too many shadows as it doesn't face down like some of the other lights, but no! It's a very pleasing light (may depend on the type of bulb you screw in the neck) and lights up the steps beautifully! The construction is durable and feels comfortable. Like it a lot!
