Review on πŸš— AL4X4 Interior Rear Cargo Basket Rack: Aluminum Alloy Luggage Storage Carrier for 2018-2020 Jeep Wrangler JL 4 Doors by Chris Horton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent goods ! Good value appreciate! However, the instructions may be wrong.

Installed, REALLY POWERFUL. When I try to shake it after installation, it doesn't move. Don't even swing! The only drawback is the instructions. This suggested that the long leg should go backwards and the slightly shorter one forward (perhaps the other way around), but the orientation was wrong when you lined it up as directed. I actually ran the instruction in reverse order and then it seemed to fit together correctly. What also doesn't help is that the parts received were slightly different from the photo. They must have changed the design of the product a bit and forgot to change the instructions. After all, he only has a large basket and 4 legs. It's not that hard to find out. In fact, I think I would have done it faster if I hadn't had any instructions to mislead me. Pros: I like the product. Like I said, it's really strong/solid once installed. And the legs also provide extra storage space. Cons: It is mounted higher than some other similar products that attach to a roll cage. Those that attach to the roll cage are only 18 inches tall, but these products mount significantly higher. (Another reviewer had great photos to show you this, so keep looking for that review. Thanks to that reviewer btw) That means there's not enough room in this basket to smuggle a milk crate or full-size fridge. It may be possible to do this with a basket mounted on a roll cage. By the way, I was already aware of the height problem when I bought it. I deliberately chose this one, which is mounted higher to get more ground clearance. By the way, do not overtighten the hardtop screws. The torque rating is 10 lb-ft, which is like a finger puff. Quite simply convenient.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • vaguely remember
