These bulbs are really very bright. The color is mostly white with a noticeable bluish cast. The quality seemed to be on the best end of the "Chinese parts" scale, but there was one very big downside: they were difficult to install. I say this because in my 2000 Ford Expedition application I had to remove the retaining clip and install it into the fog lamp assembly first and then install and rotate the bulb until I got an acceptable radiation pattern. it just emitted light everywhere with no really useful pattern (i.e. it would blind anyone who approached me without doing anything else). By tweaking them I was able to get a "pretty good" pattern, but not perfect as there was no way to rotate them to the position that gave the best pattern (which was pretty much identical to the stock bulbs). My truck had screws in the lamp assembly that prevented the connector from fitting into this clock generator. However they are useful now and shouldn't blind people and I REALLY appreciate the fact that they can be synced (infinitely, not in 90 degree increments) so that they can go from "completely useless" to "damn good" on their own. has led, in my opinion. app and I've added an asterisk accordingly. The other "PITA" fact comes from the fact that other reviewers broke the plug while grabbing it to turn it into an outlet, so I grabbed the heatsink, which is pretty small and nothing can snag . Overall they seem to be a pretty good product. Durability will show over time (hence the very mediocre rating from me). The big catch, however, is that you can't assume they're "plug and play," and they might require some fiddling so you're not "that idiot" driving traffic with poorly tuned ones lights blinds.
